Returns Policy

Returns Policy

For any return contact us on the following email address only: returns@atomicmovies.com.au

Atomic Movies must be notified prior to any item being returned. We will evaluate your return request and provide you with a Return Authorisation number which must accompany all returns and full return instructions.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

According to Australian Consumer Law, Atomic Movies offer a replacement for the following (or refund if replacement is unavailable):

Goods deemed to be faulty

Goods supplied incorrectly (Mis-ship)

Goods which are not as described on the website (excluding cover art changes where the product contents are unchanged unless the item is a special or limited edition, also excludes purchases with incorrect region coding which were advertised correctly)

Goods damaged in transit to the extent that the discs contained are no longer operable.

Any claims for faulty product must be made within 14 days of receipt of the item. 

On occasion discs may become dislodged within their cases in transit and this may result in light surface scratching. Often these scratches or scuffs can be removed with a disc cleaning agent and they rarely affect playback. If playback is affected discs will be repaired or replaced.

The item I received is faulty or not working properly.
If the item you have received is found to be faulty Atomic Movies will supply a replacement or refund your purchase if the product is no longer available.
All returns must be pre-approved and have a return authorisation number issued. 
Please email us at returns@atomicmovies.com.au within 14 days of item receipt and include your invoice number and nature of the fault.  

The item I received is not what I ordered.
Please contact us immediately if you receive the incorrect item or if the contents of your order do not match the enclosed packing slip.
Atomic Movies will replace the item at no cost to you, or if the item is no longer available a full refund will be made. We will also refund you for return postage costs.

I have changed my mind and no longer want the product I have ordered:
Order Cancellations (Product already dispatched): 
Not all items sold by www.atomicmovies.com.au are accepted for return due to change of mind or incorrect choice.
Any returns accepted will be at our discretion and must be preapproved and in brand new condition.

Please contact returns@atomicmovies.com.au for instructions on returning your purchase, please include your orginal invoice number and reason for return with any correspondence.

Order Cancellations (not yet dispatched): If you change your mind about your order please let us know as soon as possible. We are happy to accomodate your wishes and will cancel your order if it has not already been processed. Please note there is a $2 processing fee for all order cancellations paid by credit card. If an order has been processed it cannot be cancelled.

Item incorrectly ordered: If you have incorrectly ordered a product it may be returned as long as the product is in brand new fully sealed resellable condition. Returned items must be pre-approved and will not be accepted without approval. There is a 20% restocking fee for returns and no postage fees are refundable. Refunds will be issued in the form of store credits.


Incorrect Region Coding: 
As it is not possible for us to have knowledge of our customers DVD player capabilites prior to purchase the responsibility for checking region compatibility lies with our customers. Relevant region information is provided in our item descriptions. We appreciate any inquiries regarding playback suitability being made prior to purchase. Returns for items with incorrect region coding will be accepted as second hand product and a refund of 60% of the original purchase price (excluding postage) will be offered in the form of a store credit. This condition is part of our terms of sale and is non-negotiable.

Clearance Items:
These titles are sold in as advertised condition and no returns apply.
